Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez Buy Starck-Designed Miami Condo

Date September 28, 2009

Superstar celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are doing a real estate two-step — buying a condo in Miami, while trying to sell their LA home.

According to the Miami Herald, Anthony announced at last week’s Miami Dolphins football game (Anthony is a minority owner of the team) that he and his wife, J-Lo, bought a condo at Philippe Starck’s Icon Brickell, a high-end, high-rise condo tower in Miami, FL. (Photos in this post are not J-Lo and Anthony’s property,  but stock photos from Brickell site).

The 2,050-sq. ft. condo has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and, according the floor plans available on the Icon Brickell Web site, they bought the largest possible unit — nothing but the best for the growing family. The Herald reports that developer Jorge Perez has been wooing and enticing celebs to buy into the Brickell complex. The unit next to J-Lo and Marc will be sold to to the Dolphins and the one next to that will go to tennis sisters Venus and Serena Williams.

Meanwhile, J-Lo and Marc’s glorious French farmhouse estate at 487 St. Pierre Rd Los Angeles, CA in Bel Air, is still on the market (since January 2008) and is now priced at $7.9 million, down from $8.5 million. The couple purchased the home in 2005 for $6.25 million.
